Self Portrait

This piece is a love letter to my childhood. I was a girly, playful kid who loved pink and princesses, but growing up, social pressure pushed me away from those interest in hopes of being taken seriously. As an adult, I’ve reclaimed it, the crown, smile, and sunglasses represent my inner child; confident, joyful, and happy.
